Stellar views of the narrows waterway when you descend the staircase. Low tide is prime for wobbling along the rocky beach. The small grassy area near the roadway, prior to the staircase and beach, is perfect for an afternoon read on a rare sunny day, picnicking, practicing yoga or just relaxing. There are also small monument type information plaques telling the history of Ness Point (where Eagles Roost Park is located). Eagles are definitely present, however frequent observation has allowed me to document frequent harassment by ravens. It can be quite the brilliant wildlife observation and recreation area. On rainy days descend the slippery stairs with caution.
